Belek Transportation Guide: Getting There from Antalya
Sirene Hotels Belek Transportation

Belek, one of Antalya's most popular holiday destinations, stands out for its proximity to both the airport and the surrounding tourist attractions. Still, for first-time visitors, knowing the Belek transportation options in advance makes the journey much easier. In this guide, we have brought together how to get from the airport to Belek and how to reach nearby spots such as Side, Manavgat and Aspendos.

Where Is Belek? Location and Transportation Options

Belek is a tourism area on the Mediterranean coast, part of Antalya's Serik district. It lies about 40 km east of Antalya city centre and about 35 km east of Antalya Airport. With Antalya and Lara to the west and Side and Manavgat to the east, it has a central location for anyone who wants to explore the Mediterranean coast.

The area is easily reached via the D400 highway connecting Antalya and Alanya. Transportation options between Antalya and Belek generally fall into four categories:

  • Private or rental car: The most flexible option if you want to set your own route and schedule.
  • Taxi: Provides direct transport from the airport or city centre; especially practical for families with a lot of luggage.
  • Transfer service: Offers a meet-and-greet ride from the airport to your accommodation, booked in advance.
  • Public transport: Buses and minibuses (dolmuş) offer a more economical option, but may require changes.

How to Get from Antalya Airport to Belek

The distance between Antalya Airport and Belek is about 35 km, and the drive takes 30–40 minutes. The route heads east from the airport along the D400 highway. How you choose to travel depends on your budget, your luggage and how many people are travelling.

Transfer: The most practical way to get from the airport to Belek is a pre-arranged transfer. The driver meets you at the terminal and takes you straight to your accommodation. It offers a comfortable, hassle-free journey with no changes, especially for large families and those travelling with golf equipment.

Taxi: Taxis are easy to find at the terminal exit, and the journey takes about as long as a transfer. As fares are calculated by taximeter and night rates may differ, it is worth asking for an approximate price before setting off.

Car rental: You can pick up a car from the rental offices at the airport and drive to Belek yourself. If you plan to visit places like Side, Aspendos or Antalya city centre during your holiday, this is the most flexible option.

Getting from Antalya to Belek by bus takes more effort. There is no direct bus line from the airport to Belek. You first need to get to the city centre or Antalya Bus Station, then take a bus or minibus heading towards Serik and Manavgat and get off at the Belek junction. From the junction, you will usually need a taxi to reach the hotels. It can be an economical alternative if you are travelling light, but the door-to-door journey can take more than two hours.

Getting from Belek to Nearby Tourist Areas

Belek's location on the D400 highway makes it easy to reach the holiday resorts and ancient cities to the east. By car, you can get to most nearby places in under an hour. If you prefer public transport, buses and minibuses heading from Antalya towards Serik and Manavgat pick up passengers at stops along the main road.

How to Get from Belek to Side

The distance between Belek and Side is about 40–45 km, and the drive takes 40–50 minutes. In your own car, head east on the D400 and take the Side turn-off near Manavgat to reach the ancient city. A taxi or a day-trip transfer is also a comfortable option.

To travel from Belek to Side by public transport, first take a minibus heading towards Manavgat from one of the stops on the main road. As minibuses to Side run via Manavgat, you can change in Manavgat and continue to Side. The historic centre of Side is partly closed to traffic, so be prepared to explore the ancient city and the Temple of Apollo on foot.

How to Get from Belek to Manavgat

The distance from Belek to Manavgat is also about 40–45 km, and the drive takes around 40 minutes. The route again follows the D400 highway. The most practical public transport option between Belek and Manavgat is the minibuses running from Antalya to Manavgat, which you can board at the main road stops near Belek.

Once in Manavgat, the Manavgat Waterfall is a few kilometres from the town centre. Boat tours on the Manavgat River and the weekly market are also popular activities for visitors. If you want to fit all of this into one day, renting a car or arranging a day-trip transfer will save you time.

How to Get from Belek to the Ancient City of Aspendos

Belek to Aspendos is one of the closest routes in the area: the distance is about 20 km and the drive takes 20–25 minutes. Simply head east on the D400, pass Serik and follow the signs for Aspendos.

You can also travel between Belek and Aspendos by public transport. Take a minibus heading towards Serik and Manavgat and get off at the Aspendos turn-off. However, as the theatre is a few more kilometres from the turn-off, you will need to cover this last stretch by taxi or on foot. Due to the summer heat, we recommend planning your visit for the early morning. How to Get to Sirene Belek Hotel

Sirene Belek Hotel is located in Belek's hotel area, within walking distance of Antalya Golf Club. Coming from the airport, follow the D400 highway to the Belek turn-off and head towards the hotel area; the hotel is about a 35–40 minute drive away.

If you are coming by public transport, the distance from the main road stops to the hotel entrances can be long, so you may need to complete the last part by taxi. That is why a transfer or taxi is the more comfortable option, especially when travelling with luggage. For information on transfer options and the hotel's exact location, you can contact the reservations team on +90 444 09 65 before setting off.

Among the Belek hotels close to both the airport and the surrounding historical and tourist sites, Sirene Belek Hotel offers a practical base for those who want to enrich their holiday with exploration. After a day exploring Side, Manavgat or Aspendos, you can end the day relaxing by the sea, at the pool or in the spa.

In short, getting to Belek is easy thanks to its proximity to the airport and its D400 connection. Transfers and taxis are the fastest options, while public transport offers a more economical alternative that involves changes. By planning your journey in advance, you can make the most of your time in Belek and the surrounding area.
